Patchwork Family Farm and Thornfield Farm have been growing and selling food in the Blue Ridge Valley for going on 15 years.  Both farms share a deep passion for stewarding the land and strengthening the connection between healthy food, healthy people and healthy farms. These values prompted us to engage in the need for a communal approach to increasing access to local food.  And LEAP is our primary sales and distribution partner.

LEAP wears many hats when it comes to supporting a vibrant, equitable food and farming culture in the Roanoke Valley.  Our relationship with this organization dates back to the very first year we grew and sold vegetables and we're glad to have grown alongside them in the years since.  Check out the many creative and innovative ways that this organization is leading the way for food and farming in the region.  

Plenty! is the link between local farms, gardeners and Floyd County residents experiencing food insecurity.  We are grateful that surplus and second quality produce grown on our farm can make a difference in the lives of local residents who lack adequate nutrition or fresh food.  We support the Plenty! programs with direct donations of vegetables and fundraisers.
